Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Peterhead.

Flexible bookings available with up to 3 days a week, with options to pick up additional sessions when it suits.

Role Snapshot
• Primary care ANP locum sessions with a mix of acute and same-day presentations
• Autonomous clinics with clear escalation pathways and practice support
• Opportunity to work across different sites while keeping your preferred pattern
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake advanced clinical assessments and manage undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribe in line with clinical guidelines and local policy where applicable
• Request and interpret investigations and implement safe management plans
• Manage minor illness presentations and urgent on-the-day demand
• Refer to secondary care and community services appropriately and safely
• Document accurately and maintain high-quality clinical coding
Requirements
• ANP qualification with relevant advanced practice training
• NMC registration with an active PIN
• Independent Prescriber qualification is required
• Recent UK primary care experience in a similar ANP role
• Competence in managing acute presentations and long-term condition reviews as needed
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge and information governance awareness
Working Pattern
• Locum, part-time, temporary or contract options available
• Up to 3 days a week with flexible session choices
• Sessions can be regular and repeatable, or ad hoc to match availability
• Daytime sessions with clear start and finish times agreed in advance
