Job Description

LocumJobs Recruit is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide clinical cover within primary care services in Stoke-on-trent.

An excellent opportunity for an ACP seeking structured clinics, clear governance and a team that supports autonomous practice. You will help maintain patient access and deliver safe, efficient care across a range of presentations.

Up to 3 days a week available with flexibility to arrange sessions that work for you.

A dependable ACP role with scope for ongoing bookings.

Role Snapshot
• Contract ACP sessions with a focus on assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
• Mix of urgent presentations and planned reviews depending on service need

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake advanced clinical assessment and manage undifferentiated presentations
• Formulate differential diagnoses and implement evidence-based management plans
• Prescribe and review medicines in line with competence and policies
• Request, interpret and act on investigations and results
• Make referrals and arrange follow-up with robust safety-netting
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and coding standards

Requirements
• Registered clinician with ACP qualification and relevant primary care experience
• Independent prescribing qualification where required for the role
• Strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with the MDT
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK

Working Pattern
• Contract sessions available up to 3 days per week
• Flexible booking options including regular weekly sessions or short-term cover
• Session structure agreed in advance where possible
