Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Terrington.

Flexible bookings available with up to 2 days a week, with extra sessions available during peak demand.
ACP clinics focused on safe autonomous practice and efficient flow.
Role Snapshot
• Primary care ACP sessions managing undifferentiated and same-day demand
• Support available through established escalation pathways
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced assessments and formulate differential diagnoses
• Manage acute presentations and contribute to same-day access services
• Prescribe and request investigations within scope and governance
• Provide robust safety netting and arrange follow-up where appropriate
• Liaise with MDT colleagues to support continuity and patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and high-quality coding
Requirements
• Relevant professional registration and evidence of ACP-level practice
• Advanced clinical practice qualification or equivalent portfolio evidence
• Independent Prescriber qualification is preferred
• Recent UK primary care experience in an ACP or similar advanced role
• Confidence managing complex presentations and clinical risk
• Up-to-date safeguarding and mandatory training
Working Pattern
• Temporary, locum, part-time or contract options available
• Up to 2 days a week with flexibility on session selection
• Mix of ongoing weekly sessions and ad hoc cover depending on preference
• Clinic structure and escalation arrangements agreed prior to start
