Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support a well-run GP practice in Burton-on-trent.

Up to 3 days a week available with flexibility to suit your booking preferences.
Fast-start ANP sessions with a clear remit and strong admin support.
Role Snapshot
• Locum ANP support in primary care with a mix of same-day and routine work
• Independent clinics with access to GP support when needed
• Opportunity for ongoing sessions and repeat bookings
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake autonomous clinical assessments and manage acute presentations
• Diagnose, treat and prescribe in line with competence and local pathways
• Manage minor illness and long-term conditions within agreed protocols
• Request and interpret investigations, referrals and follow-up plans
• Document consultations accurately and code activity appropriately
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to maintain safe patient flow
Requirements
• Registered Nurse with ANP qualification and relevant primary care experience
• V300 prescribing qualification
• Confident in minor illness and primary care decision-making
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and clinical governance
• Current enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
Working Pattern
• Locum engagement with sessions available up to 3 days per week
• Mix of planned and on-the-day appointments depending on practice need
• Flexibility offered on days, session times and frequency of bookings
